- Kang Zhanbin is one of Singapore's most accomplished weiqi players, competing in the Men's Team event at the 2022 Asian Games in Hangzhou. Holding the distinction of being a Professional 6 Dan player, Kang Zhanbin was one of the most experienced members of Singapore's weiqi contingent in Hangzhou, representing the highest level of competitive play within the Singapore Weiqi Association. His professional-level rank sets him apart as a key pillar of Singapore's weiqi programme at the regional and continental level.
