- Joan Hung Hui Xin is a Singaporean para judoka who competes in the Women's J1/J2 60kg category. A former goalball player who captained Singapore's team to a silver medal at the ASEAN Para Games 2022, she made the bold decision to switch sports and become Singapore's first-ever para judoka at any major Games. She went on to make history at the ASEAN Para Games 2025, winning a silver medal on her debut on the judo mat and delivering Singapore's first-ever para judo medal. She was also honoured as the flag bearer for Team Singapore at the Games, a reflection of her trailblazing journey in the sport.
