Goh Wen Zhe

• Profile
  • Goh Wen Zhe is a field player for the Singapore Men's National Water Polo Team who has endured a long and winding journey to SEA Games gold. Having experienced the heartache of a gold streak-ending loss at the 2019 Games, followed by the sport's exclusion from the 2021 edition and a missed 2023 campaign due to national service, he made his return count at the 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok, scoring the team's final three goals in a crucial 19-16 victory over Indonesia that secured Singapore's gold medal finish. "This is something that I've been working towards for a very long time," he said. "2019 was a very painful experience. Through these years, I really worked, and worked, and worked."
