- Chan Han Siong Daniel is a national para-shooter competing in the men's 10m air pistol SH1 category. Born with obstetrical brachial plexus palsy affecting his left arm, he was first introduced to shooting during National Service before pursuing a bachelor's degree in Go (Weiqi) overseas. Inspired by watching the 2016 Rio Olympics, he returned to the sport and has since risen to compete at the highest level, making his Paralympic debut at the 2024 Paris Games. He also claimed gold at the 2025 ASEAN Para Games in Thailand. Guided by his motto "dreams keep you alive", he continues to set his sights on representing Singapore at both the Paralympic and Olympic Games.
