Alexavier Koh Ming Jun
Kickboxing
- Profile
- Alexavier Koh Ming Jun was Singapore's sole kickboxing representative at the 2025 SEA Games in Bangkok, the only athlete to meet the strict selection criteria requiring a top-three ranking in Southeast Asia. A Media, Arts and Design student at Singapore Polytechnic with no martial arts background before entering SP, he first picked up Muay Thai before transitioning into kickboxing under coach Nazri, quickly rising to national level. Inspired by Joseph Schooling's historic Olympic gold in 2016, Alexavier said representing Singapore had been his dream since watching Schooling's victory at age 11. He claimed a joint-bronze medal at the 2025 SEA Games, Singapore's first kickboxing medal at the Games.
