Nge Joo Jie is the first local player in history to achieve World Number 1 in the Men Doubles Junior ranking together with his partner Johann Prajogo. Joo jie also made it to the Top 8 in the Men Doubles World Junior Championships and it is the furthest anyone has made it to. Claiming back to back titles at the Croatia and Bulgaria Junior championships back in 2022. Joo Jie and his partner also came in 1st place in the National Open Championships 2023 for Men's Doubles. Both Joo Jjie and his partner are looking forward to represent Singapore in the 2023 Sea Games.
