Lionel has always been an avid sports fan since young and he loves it. Even though he was born with cerebral palsy, he always challenges himself to improve and be better. Lionel has represented Team Singapore on various occasions, including the 2015, 2017 and 2023 ASEAN Para Games, and the 2018 Asian Para Games. In the 2017 Asian Youth Games, Lionel clinched a gold medal in the 100m T37 Men U20 category. In his free time, Lionel enjoys playing computer games.
