Kimberly started Jiu Jitsu in 2019 after attending a free trial and falling in love with the sport. Within 3 months, she started competing, winning the Dumau Open 2019 in Saigon at white belt. Since then she's remained an active competitor constantly seeking ways to improve her performance. Notable achievements include winning National Trials in October 2021, placing 3rd at the Thai Jiu Jitsu Grand Prix 2022 (open belt) in Bangkok and winning double gold at IBJJF Pan Pacs 2022 (blue belt) in Melbourne. She currently trains with her coach and fellow National Teammate Amirul Syafiq at Carpe Diem BJJ Singapore.
