Prior to making the switch to Aquathlon in 2022, Hillary swam competitively, and played in the Western Australian Waterpolo Seniors League. Based in Perth, Western Australia, Hillary trains with the Elite Squad at Eclipse Performance Centre. Through this, she has gained experience training and racing with WA state athletes. Outside of training, Hillary works full time as a Physiotherapist in a hospital.
