David is the youngest male weightlifter in the team. He started weightlifting in Jan 2021 as he thought it would be an interesting sport to learn. After the first competition in Mar 2021, he got hooked to the sport and never looked back since. He is a student at Singapore Sports School undergoing post-secondary education.
