Danisha Mathialagan

Danisha Mathialagan is a national boxing champion in the 50kg Light Flyweight category, and the first Singaporean to have qualified for Asian Games 2023 since 1976. She is also the first female Singaporean boxer to qualify and participate in the event. In her maiden appearance in the IBA Women’s World Championships 2023, she successfully defeated then IBA world-ranked #18 boxer Ruhafzo Haqnazarova from Tajikistan and advanced to the pre-quarterfinals. Danisha is currently one of the Top 30 boxers in the world at #22.
